Reinstein Ranch is pleased to announce that has joined the Reinstein Ranch team as head instructor and trainer.

Amanda combines eighteen years of riding experience with an exceptional educational background to provide students with a solid basis for any discipline. She emphasizes safety and can help you develop the essential skills to become an independent, confident rider and handler. 
 
Riding since age eight, Amanda was an active member of the United States Pony Club throughout her youth and teen years. She competed successfully on the East Coast at the USPC Championships in Lexington, Virginia in 1998. She began her riding career in hunters and jumpers and has since expanded to a primary focus on dressage, competing successfully on many horses, including her current mount, American Warmblood mare, Jordan. From 2003 to 2007 she attended California State University, Fresno, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Equine Science. Since graduation, Amanda has focused on riding instruction. She welcomes riders of all ages and ability levels, with a focus on beginning through intermediate level riders.

Amanda also provides horse training services with a focus on problem solving and tune-ups. She is available for consultations on horse purchases to assure that you select a horse that is appropriate for your riding level and one that will help you meet your riding goals, whether those goals include competition or pleasure riding.
 
Amanda strives to provide riders with a solid foundation to become confident and knowledgeable with horses. Amanda is qualified to instruct people in English and western disciplines. Amanda teaches the fundamentals of western riding using the same balanced seat concepts that apply to dressage. Amanda teaches her students to understand the nature of horses in addition to the mechanics of good riding, which is the key to her students’ overall success and confidence. Whether you wish to ride recreationally or aspire to a competition level, Amanda can help you improve and meet your personal goals.
